A Night In

 It all started with Ben tugging Meredith onto his lap, lips pressed against hers in a heated kiss. His hands roamed on her figure while his desire for her grew. He had wanted her ever since their first encounter at the bar but Ben never imagined something would actually become of it.

"I want you to know you're not some groupie to me, Meredith. I really want this with you."

She had the same desire for him but she had been worried all night about moving too fast. She was afraid if she gave into that physical urge he would think she was like those other girls. But now that he was saying that he put her at ease. Just enjoying his hands touching her all over.

"If we're going to sleep together..." she said. "There's something I should tell you first."

"What is it?"

He kept his touch patient and gentle, learning each curve of Meredith's body. His lips moved from her lips down her jaw to her neck.

"I haven't slept with anyone before," she admitted. "I'm a virgin."

She knew he wouldn't expect that, but her sex life had never been a priority for Meredith. She wanted to save herself for the right man, and if he took a while getting there she had her work and her music to keep her occupied. It just wasn't something she thought about, but with him the sexual desire was very much real.

The question is would he be okay with that, or would it be a turn-off for him when he'd probably had girls who were much more experienced and could do all kinds of things that she would have to fumble through.

Her confession didn't waver him in the slightest, it only reminded him to be gentle with her and make sure her first time would be something amazing.

"I won't rush, Meredith. This is obviously important to you."

Ben smiled into her skin, beginning to undress her.

"It is. But I want you to be that guy."

Which spoke about how much she had come to respect him, that she was willing to give herself to him in that way. She let him undo her shirt before she reached down and pulled his over his head, tossing it over the back of the couch.

Meredith certainly didn't think her first time would be on an old couch with the drummer from a rock band, but she wasn't complaining. Ben had surprised her, and she liked this. That the two of them were away from the whole world and this would be their own private, special moment together.

"Just don't laugh when I fumble, okay?" she said, chuckling nervously.

What she said brought a whole new meaning to the night. Ben peeled her shirt off, kissing each inch of exposed skin gently.

"I won't laugh. There's more important things to focus on.. Just relax and give in to the feeling."

The fact that she'd chosen him as her first time spoke volumes about how much it meant. Ben would do his absolute best.

She groaned softly at the very pleasant feeling of his lips on her skin. Reaching behind herself to undo her bra and throw it away, exposing even more of her skin for him to touch and taste. Her hands roamed up his back, learning every rippling muscle there before her fingers began to tease through his hair.

"This is your fault, just like everything else," she teased gently, not wanting to be anywhere else in the world right then.

"Guilty as charged."

Ben smirked, kissing and nipping at her breasts playfully. She was absolutely mesmerizing to look at. His fingers danced on Meredith's naked skin, feeling the warmth and softness while he kissed up to her lips.

She chuckled softly, kissing him back tenderly as she relaxed on his lap. She was in no hurry to rush, still learning everything she could about him, now just with her hands. She did allow her hands to slide lower, contemplating trying to get him the rest of the way naked. But there would be time for that.

"Your touch is just as sweet as you."

Ben liked the difference from the usual. Girls rushing to get his pants off and getting into his bed was dull compared to this. Meredith took her time and it was really sexy.

She smiled shyly at that. She didn't understand girls who just jumped right at any man they thought was attractive. She had to feel some kind of connection, and she felt it with him after the couple of long conversations they'd had. Now if he still felt that way once they'd slept together she'd find out.

"I trust you to do what you want," she said honestly. "I just want this to be special for both of us."

"I'll do my best to make it special for you."

He laid her down on the couch, just looking at her for a moment. She was the most beautiful girl he'd seen, and the blush of her cheeks made her absolutely endearing.

Ben kissed her softly, pressing his hips against hers.

"I want you to enjoy it too, you know."

She said before she returned his kiss, wrapping her arms around him again. She was concerned he might leave if they didn't mesh sexually the way they had personality wise. When he pushed down it made her groan against his mouth, and she slid her hands down further to explore, fingers tracing down his spine before one hand gently squeezed his ass. It felt good having him this close.

Ben took his sweet time kissing her, smirking when he felt the squeeze. It's what he hoped from Meredith; surrendering herself to the moment and being a little cheeky.

"I'm already enjoying it."

His hips moved against hers, his own arousal sparked.

She found that she really liked the friction between their bodies, moving her hips up against his. She was going to leave her hand on his ass as long as he'd let her leave it there, just letting her other hand roam over every inch of his body. He was in much better shape than she figured.

"Just so you know," she quipped, "this is not at all how I thought this was going to go."

"How did you think it would go?"

He kissed her breasts and up to her neck. She smelled nice as usual, giving Ben something to remember this night by whenever she wore that perfume.

"Somewhere really nice. Possibly some candles," she said. "And definitely not you."

The smile when she said it would tell him she meant it as a compliment. He was all that she thought she'd never want in a man, yet he'd managed to push past those prejudices and win her over. She was telling him this to remind him that he had done the impossible and now she genuinely cared about him.

"So you're right, you are a bit of a surprise. A big one."

That left the door open for a joke about the size of certain body parts if he was going to make it. Which given his attitude he probably would and she would laugh.

"You're a romantic one."

That earned her a smile and a laugh. He got the compliment. She hooked him in an instant, with the way she didn't fall for his rock star mannerisms but went for the person under all of that instead.

"Not too big I'd hope."

He couldn't resist.

Meredith laughed out loud at that. It was such a Ben thing to say. He always had some kind of smartass response and it usually invited her to make her own.

"I don't know, I haven't seen it yet," she replied as she playfully tugged on his belt.

But she nodded. She was most definitely a romantic. Hence the waiting for the right guy to come along. Why bother making the effort if it was just going to be for a bit of fun someone else was going to forget? She was worth more than that.

"I'm a little overdressed aren't I?"

Ben flashed his trademark smirk, guiding her hands to his belt buckle. He liked it better when a woman undresses him.

Keeping the mood sexy but fun was important, considering it's Meredith's first time. He wanted her to relax.

"I just didn't want to rush through it. Have you think I'm like those other girls."

But now that she had his permission she was slowly undoing his belt and getting his pants undone. He wasn't the only one still half dressed anyway. She reached her hand inside and groped him gently.

"You're not like them at all. One clear sign is that you're not tearing my clothes off and getting right to it."

The gentle touch felt good, arousing him further. While she touched him, Ben focused on undressing her fully.

She lifted her hips to help him, nervous about what he'd think when he got the rest of her clothes off. Blushing a little at the mere thought before he even got her pants off, even as she continued to work him gently. Was she even doing it the way he liked it?

Her nerves were more visible than she probably noticed.

"Relax, Meredith. You're perfect." Ben assured her with a smile. He tugged her pants down while kissing where he could reach.

She chuckled as she helped him get his pants off, her hand slowly still teasing him. As if she wouldn't have nerves considering everything that was going on in this situation.

"Yes, well," she said into his neck, where she was playfully nipping. "You are a little intimidating, Ben."
